Soda Springs Geyser
The Soda Springs Geyser in Idaho,
the world’s only captive geyser,
was discovered in 1937 during a
drilling project. Now on a timer, it
erupts hourly, shooting water 70-
100 feet high. Located in Geyser
Park, it offers boardwalks, picnic
areas, and scenic views, making it
a unique, family-friendly roadside
attraction open year-round.
Alexander Reservoir
Alexander Reservoir, just west of
Soda Springs, Idaho, spans over
1,000 acres with excellent boat
ramps, and ADA access. Anglers can
reel in rainbow trout, cutthroat,
smallmouth bass, yellow perch,
channel catfish, and more. With
improved fish populations it's a top
spot for versatile fishing experiences
year-round.
